Join participants from around the globe, as the 50th Anniversary of Martin Luther King's writing is commemorated.  Local residents will meet in the library community room to take part in a public reading in commemoration of Dr. King's Letter.

     Anyone who is interested in reading a portion of Letter from Birmingham Jail at this event can contact the library at 775-6541 and ask for April or Cathy.  This worldwide event is sponsored by the Birmingham (Alabama) Public Library.
