Adult Summer Reading Challenge

June 20th - August 15th

Join the library in celebrating the art of stories and how we share them.

How it works:

Fill out a ticket for every book you finish.

Fill out a ticket for every library activity you complete.

Ticket form to fill out

Weekly prize drawings for each week's ticket entries.

Grand Prize drawing for all ticket entries on Saturday August 15th.

Each Saturday, the upcoming week's events will be posted on our website and Facebook page.  Any activity supplies needed for the week will be available by request for pickup.

Our Stories 2020 Time Capsule

Over the course of the summer learn new skills that will help you put together a project based on your own story. 
Submit your creation as either a photo or video to the library by Saturday August 29th in order to be included in the time capsule. 
More details will be available on our website later this summer.

Welcome to the Summer Reading Program! 

This summer we will be doing the program a bit differently. Reading logs can be requested online or printed at home. 
* If requested online your child will receive a reading log packet that will contain four books that can be mailed or picked up curbside.
* If a reading log sheet was printed at home it can be turned in through the inside or outside drop box and the child's four books will be arranged for curbside pick up or mailed to them soon after.  
All finished reading log sheets should be turned into the library through either the inside or outside drop box. 
Children 5 and Under - Prizes will be arranged for curbside pick up or mailed to them by August ,15th 
Children in Kindergarten thru 4th Grade will have their names entered into a drawing for prizes. The names will be drawn at the end of the program ( August ,15th ) and all prizes will be arranged for curbside pick up or mailed to them soon after.  
  
All programs will be online so look for our online story times and craft hour!

Directions: Each large square contains 9 circles–1 activity per circle. Do any activity and color in or mark off 5 circles in one square.  If you finish all four squares (20 circles),  turn in your sheet and your name will be entered into the drawing for one of the Grand Prizes!

Directions: On this sheet, you will see 25 circles. Each circle contains an activity. Do an activity and cross out that circle.  When you have completed 20 circles you win a special prize!  (Sheets can be handed in [when the library is open to the public] or dropped in the book drop.)
