Manton Children's Programing

Children's programs that are happening at the Manton Public Library in Manton, Michigan.

FRIDAYS AT 10:30AM! Join Ashton for a song, a story, and a craft or activity! No library card required to attend.

This storytime is geared toward children ages 2-6, but families are very welcome.

Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by their caregiver.

The goal is simple: read 1,000 books with your child before they head off to kindergarten.

Sounds like a lot, huh?  Don't worry!

1 book a day for 3 years = 1096 books
3 books a day for 1 year = 1096 books

Join the program by signing up at the circulation desk!

Get a log and cross off a symbol for each book you read:

  • Repeated books count
  • Books heard at storytime count (Including library storytimes!)
  • Books read by family and friends count

Win a prize for every 100 books you read and move your submarine token up the ocean scene!
