An update from Cadillac Wexford Public Library

An update from the Cadillac Wexford Public Library and branches about transitioning to curbside and computer appointments .

 We want to thank all of our patrons for continuing to support and utilize the library during these trying times. Over the past several months, we have been dedicated to following necessary guidelines to help mitigate the spread of Coronavirus. There is now substantial data to show Michigan’s Covid-19 fight once again requires alleviation efforts. The health and safety of our patrons, community, and staff are of utmost importance and Cadillac Wexford Public Library is committed to doing our part.

After careful consideration, and in coordination with Library staff and the Library’s Board of Trustees, beginning Wednesday, 11/18/20, the Cadillac Wexford Public Library will transition to offering curbside book and materials pick up and computer usage by appointment. Patrons will be notified when their reserved items are available for pick up. Curbside book and material service and computer use by appointment will be available during the following hours:
Cadillac: Mon-Thurs 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Fri. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Sat. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Manton: Mon-Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Mesick: Mon-Friday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Additionally,
• Virtual Programs will continue
• Wexford County residents may apply for a library card through the library website
• Craft kits will remain available via curbside
• Book drops will remain open
• Printouts will be available through curbside pickup by emailing the documents to text@cadillaclibrary.org
• Library staff will be available to assist with technology and reference questions via phone, text, or email during open hours
• Ebooks, eaudiobooks, and other online materials will continue to be available through Up North Digital, and Hoopla
• Wifi access will continue to be available in the parking lot in Cadillac, Manton, and Mesick
• MelCat service will continue
