100 BOOKS BEFORE GRADUATION

Grades 10-12 (Suggested Ages 16-18)

Before you face the adult world, we've come up with a list of titles to help you prepare! Learn different perspectives and ways of life; all while earning cool prizes along your journey. Begin your adventure at the Cadillac, Manton, or Mesick branches to pick up your Level One list today!

TEEN GENRE BOOK BOX

Ages 11-18, All Branches

Do you want to learn more about a certain subject, but not sure where to start? A Genre Book Box may be what you are looking for. Fill out a simple form and receive: 2 library books in your select genre, 1 snack, 1 craft, 1 bookmark, and 2 stickers. BONUS: Each quarter, you will also receive a book to keep! Your subscription can be for 1 month or through August 2026! Genre Book Boxes can be picked up in Cadillac, Manton, or Mesick on the 1st of every month, after 1pm. Sign up with this link: Teen Genre Book Box.

TEEN TUESDAYS

Tuesdays, 3-5pm, Ages 11-18, Cadillac Branch

Drop in the community room on Tuesdays after school for some fun! We’ll have crafts, games, good tunes, and an opportunity to make new friends. No sign up required.

2nd ANNUAL SLICE WARS & UNO SHOWDOWN

Treat your taste buds to dishes from our local pie shops and cast your vote for the best cheese pie! Teens can also participate in our UNO
Tournament for bragging rights.

UNEARTH A STORY: GEOCACHING

2-4pm, Ages 11-18:

Have you ever wanted to learn to geocache? Head outside with us as we explore a couple of sites near the library! Bring your walking shoes and we will provide the rest.

A FLIPPIN' GOOD DAD

CRAFT NIGHT

Tuesday, June 23rd, 5-6pm, Ages 11-18, Cadillac Branch

Join us for a fun craft night! After Teen Tuesday, stay to make a custom friendship bracelet with Miss Kim, Teen Mentor for Staircase Youth Services. She will be available during the entire event for teens to share their thoughts and concerns about their lives while she steers them in a mentally healthy direction. All supplies are provided. No sign up required.

UNEARTH A STORY: 3D PRINT A PIECE OF GEOCACHE SWAG

Join us for a 250th American Birthday special! We will watch a Independence Day-inspired anime movie/show, snacks, activities or crafts, and discussion. We meet monthly. No sign up required.
